Mr. Anil Bharadwaj
FISME Mr. Anil Bhardwaj is the Secretary General of the Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME), New Delhi in India. An MBA (Intl. Trade), he served in private sector for a decade in International Trade, before joining FISME in 1996.
Mr. Bhardwaj is well versed with industrial and trade issues, promotional and regulatory environment and has good expertise in Multilateral Trade issues specifically – WTO. He has spearheaded nationwide WTO awareness campaigns for the SMEs and has also authored books and articles on WTO issues. He has served on a number of high profile committees at Center formed for promotion of SMEs. He has also led several SME development projects of supported by institutions such as World Bank, UNIDO, ILO, UNCTAD, DFID and GTZ. He is among the few people credited for progressive
re-orientation of SME sector in India.
